Cool start, really warm finish! All trails in great shape, falls beautiful as always. Lots of water but easy crossings. Minor ice just below Little Haystack & Lafayette. Standing water, mud, & some ice on both sides of the hut, sign to sign. Worst of the day. Solo on Haystack, 2 others on Lincoln, maybe 20 on Lafayette. Some wind but not bad. Hazy views but still amazing. Lots of folks heading up Greenleaf, many hanging at hut enjoying the warm weather. Spotted a glider over The Ridge from the hut. Worst wind was coming down Greenleaf until about 4800 ft. Another beautiful day in the whites, |
