Probably one of the best hiking days of the year...perfect temps, no wind, no bugs, no henways. Original plan was to start out on the Crawford Path tagging Pierce, Eisenhower & Monroe then backtracking and hike down the Edmands Path and do a road walk back to Crawford Notch. But ended up returning on the Crawford Path just because the sun was perfect on the ridge line back. Since it was a nice Saturday there was a big party on Eisenhower with everyone enjoying the stunning weather. Glad to be out with others enjoying this spectacular day in the Whites. |
