Comments
Comments: You know how rain sometimes arrives early and obscures your views? Well, sometimes it's the opposite. Weather report said fog and rain would be gone around 1 or 2, so this looked like a good one for the afternoon (and only a little more than an hour from home). No visibility, but still a nice afternoon. If you go, make sure you are aware that there are different Crown Point Roads (Crown Point, First Crown Point, etc). It is on First Crown Point Road.

Took the south portion of the Tower Loop. Mentioned leaves as being slippery. They weren't bad, but you should be careful as they continue to drop. Not much to see at summit. Climbed the fire tower, but too much fog. Descended Pond Trail, steep at first, levels off, and then on to Little Blue Job. Need to get back there when the sun shines; expansive and looks like it would have great views. Returned to other summit and took the North Loop down. Very pretty woods, a mix of evergreens and still a lot of yellow leaves.

Just to let everyone know, most of the conditions checked off were only an issue due to rain.

Nice place, will definitely return on a good day.
