Quick hike starting from designated parking area on way to Horton Center and back. Had already hiked the Gorham to Chapel Rock segment on a prior hike. Conditions were dry except for some slick mud by the boardwalks on the loop's return. Great views of Wildcat and downtown Gorham (look for signage indicating the Gorham view). Entire hike took less than 2 hours, though most of the hike was on a dirt road. Great ledge on first half of loop once you get on the mountain and off the dirt road. |
