Comments
Comments: It had been one year since we did this hike (last time I had two dogs but Dali passed away in February), I wanted to do some miles and be above treeline before the rain predicted for Friday late pm. This one is always nice. There were just a few hikers today, so it was perfect... really perfect. All the trails are in top shape. I was surprised that the cairn atop Eisenhower was reduced to almost nothing... all that to have a circle around it. Really, this large cairn was useful in winter to provide some sheltering, now I don't think so. The use of those rocks serve nothing, it would have been better to touch nothing! Otherwise, it was nice to meet a few nice people enjoying the Whites
