Conditions were extremely sloppy late this afternoon. 1 to 2 inches of wet snow (wet from unfrozen ground as well as subsequent rain). Old Mountain Road was a slushy, muddy mess. Crawford Ridgepole was slushy with some puddles.
Traction would have been useless this afternoon, but in the off-chance that things freeze, light traction might not be a bad idea until more melting takes place. |
