If you lost a microspike, someone found it and hung it in the Boott Spur Trail sign. |

Looks like some significant ice build-up on the headwall. Any attempt to ascend it requires full climbing gear at this point.
Lion’s Head summer route is (oddly) still open while the winter route is closed.
Fantastic day to be in the ravine. Zero wind and mostly clear skies. It didn’t even feel that cold (though it was supposedly in the teens). |
