Several small streams along MILL BROOK TRAIL all very easy to hop over or step on rocks (for the little guy) |

We were the only people out there today. We broke trail all the way. Snow coverage was thin at the start of the trail...and of course as we were about 3 miles in (MBTrail) coverage went to about 2-3 inches. Then once on KRTrail about 0.3 miles in- coverage was about 3-4 inches. All fresh powder. Definitely not enough for snowshoes yet. But we wore traction the entire day- which was especially required for just below summit-> to the summit (the steepest part of the trail). |
