 | Comments: |
Dust on crust down low with occasional patchy blue ice from the many small stream crossings on the bottom of Bunnell Notch Trail. 1 decent sized patch of blue ice right below the switchback that leads up to Bunnell Rock where its always wet; grippy ice so no concerns there with good spikes. Crampons and snowshoes are both overkill and will get destroyed by all the exposed rocks. Some minor drifting up on the ridge, snow depth from 4-6" on trail to 1-2' off trail from the cabin to the summit. Note that the trail is not broken out and severely drifted over heading towards the Bulge and Horn |
