Gate was still open and parking lot had minimal snow. No other cars. |

Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Wet Trail, Ice - Blue, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular |

| Water Crossing Notes: |
Three major water crossings in the first mile or two were only partially frozen over. Not too hard to cross, but all the rocks were covered with ice. This is where I put on my spikes. |

One big blow down, but we were able to go around easily. |

Saw one dog. |

| Comments: |
Perfect day with great trail conditions. 8 deg when we started and 25 deg when we ended. Used micro spikes after the first mile and never took them off. Enough snow to start filing in all the nooks and crannies between the rocks, but it’s still early. Snow shoes went along for the ride. |
