Bike path is snowless and dry. Shortcut up to the left turn at 2300' is a wet muddy, icy, snowy mixed bag of an absolute mess, could bareboot to here but it wouldn't be fun. Above here with the short sharp transition from the hardwoods to the conifers, the trail quickly transitioned to being pretty well filled in with rocks and roots buried and only the larger slabs, and boulders exposed and the rock steps were a nice combo of packed snow and flat staircases. Nice packed snow on the ridge with no drifts currently, trail is well packed out heading towards Little Haystack, Liberty summit bypass is also broken out |
