Recommended Equipment: Light Traction

Water Crossing Notes: Small and easy to rock hop. Great open flowing water sources.

Trail Maintenance Notes: None. Trail is clear and easy to navigate and hike

Dog-Related Notes: At this time of year, make sure your dog can handle the changing conditions. Pretty straightforward trail for a dog that has hiked before.

Lost and Found: I lost my Gerber folding knife. I don’t expect to get it back.

Comments: Well, it’s been a while since I did one of these. I got frustrated when looking for conditions because no one had posted since the beginning of the month.

The AT to the summit is clear. Still pretty fall like at the bottom but, winter does make itself known. Spikes are good. No snowshoes right now.
