Comments
Comments: Very windy morning to start but as soon as we got onto the trail and out of the parking area, the winds diminished. The clouds moved out and the sun busted through as we ascended Mount Field. The lower mile of the hike had icy trails that light traction was perfect for. As we got higher up, more snow filled in the trails making for beautiful and fast conditions. We kept our Hillsounds on but a case could be made for barebooting up there. Full winter wonderland scenery all around. Snowshoes not yet needed. Nice way to burn off some of that Thanksgiving dinner.
