Definitely going to need spikes up along Middle Sister Trail leading towards the summit of Middle Sister. The rest of the day I didn't wear any traction, a lot of the woods were snow free. The steep part of Carter Ledge right before the junction w/ Middle Sister Trail was really icy and spikes are recommended for this section too. |
