Parking/Access Road Notes: Dirt lot to left of fish hatchery building can hold 3 or 4 cars.

Surface Conditions: Ice - Black, Wet Trail, Wet/Slippery Rock, Ice - Breakable Crust, Standing/Running Water on Trail, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular, Mud - Minor/Avoidable, Snow/Ice - Small Patches

Recommended Equipment: Light Traction 
Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Several tributaries of Cold Brook have to be crossed, but are not a problem as long as you watch for ice patches. 
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: No blazes, but trail is easily followed with no vegetation. Several blowdowns that need to be gone under, over or around.

Comments
Comments: Wore spikes on latter half of Mill Brook and all of Kilkenny Ridge, but you can bareboot if careful near ice. Temp was in 20s, stiff wind on ledges. There is the main summit ledge and then expansive ledges southwest of that.
