Wore microspikes to start as the lower levels were still icy from cold overnight temps. Upper was icy with a little snow coverage. Ended up taking the spikes off for the last mile on the return as the ice had melted. I wore trail shoes and not boots. Perfect day. I saw three groups and had the summit to ourselves! Great hike for dogs. She did great on the icy ledges. |
