Comments
Comments: Great hike. Logging road is in good shape and an easy walk. Trail is very gradual until about the 4mi mark. Gets steeper but has some nice switchbacks. Sandwich Mtn Trail is steep but only .6mi.

Snow cover ranged from none up until about the 4 mi mark to a few inches. It does have some icy spots, especially from junction to summit. Easily bare booted up but used the microspikes down (others were bare booting this way also). Biggest "hazard" was the slightly frozen but boot deep mud patches. Lots of very large and cool erratics.
