Dog-Related Notes: Probably not a good time for dogs as there is much exposed, sheer ice at the top and in all exposed areas. We did not see any today.

Comments: Lots of straight up shoulder season ice floes at the top of Jackson and in between Jackson and Pierce. Larger crampons would be good here. I had Hillsound Trail crampons and had a small uncontrolled slide with them, as did a few others today.
