Water Crossing Notes
Water Crossing Notes: Water crossings on the Falling Waters Trail were not too bad, with the exception of the first one on the ascent (last on the descent) which had significant black ice on the larger boulders which was basically invisible. The other crossings were easily managed by stepping in the shallow water or submerged rocks to avoid the ice.

Comments
Comments: Did the loop clockwise. Barebooted the first 2 miles up Old Bridle Path. Micros went on for the ledges. Past the Hut switched traction for trail crampons. Kept those on for the Ridge and most of the way down Falling Waters Trail. It was tedious and slow descending Falling Waters with all the ice. Sharp spikes recommended. Leave the rock spikes at home.

Lots of people out today. Beautiful weather. Everyone pleasant. Nice talking with several folks.
