Comments
Comments: We saw it all today with dry trail at the bottom of Lonesome Lake trail to patches of snow and ice and then consistent, significant ice from 3400 above. Hi-Cannon was an ice luge. We saw every kind of ice everywhere. Not a lot of snow to grip the trail, so we were sliding with spikes on the way up. Lonesome Lake on the way down was also very icy. Make sure you have good sharp spikes or trail crampons. I wore Hillsound trail crampons up and changed into the big boys for the way down. Still hugged some trees. Lol. Not a good time for dogs. Insanely icy.
