Trail of course is broken out but narrow (one snowshoer wide). Snow is not really 'packed' yet. Snowshoes or at least microspikes are helpful; barebooters are working harder than they need to. I wore snowshoes start to finish. Whoever broke out the trail misrouted significantly after the second water crossing and everyone followed them. I did a couple laps on the correct route to break it out and hopefully make it more obvious. Snowshoers to help widen this popular trail are welcomed :) |
