 | Comments: |
Walked Bear Tree Road approx 0.3 mi to skidder road. Started bw on skidder road that we followed a short while toward ridge crest before heading straight for summit. Encountered blowdowns of all sizes including boulder fields - situation worsened by inadequate snow depth, although too deep to boot. Easy to find bottle wrapped in orange tape on flattish summit.
Breaking effort - tedious due to unsupportive spring snow, blowdowns, boulder fields
grades - all easy
Tree density - mostly wide open hard woods. A couple of short, sprucy bands |
