Comments: Bushwhack (old AT corridor), Wachipauka Pond Trail, Webster Slide Trail, RR grade

Easily booted entire hike, with absolutely zero postholing on trail. Encountered all conditions between vehicle and both summits. Started seeing treacherous ice among the rocks on trail as we climbed Wyatt Hill. Fortunately these conditions eventually changed to hard packed snow N of the pond. BW the 3 Mist summit bumps. We used microspikes on the Webster Slide steeps, although we had brought full crampons just in case. The steeps had all conditions - snow, ice, bare rocks, soft ice, hard ice. When the microspikes wouldn't dig into the hard ice, we walked off trail.
Wanting to avoid the ice and rocks of the Wyatt Hill section of the trail, we started looking for the old AT corridor N of the pond. At approx 1480' we saw what looked like a corridor in the hard woods.
We turned N on this corridor and soon noticed that this trail is reasonably wide and still being lightly maintained. Great trail bed until 1200' where the trail started skirting the edge of a severely eroded section of the old trail. Turned off the trail at 1100', where we directed ourselves NE to the RR grade. Followed this back to the car.
