 | Comments: |
This normally straightforward hike was challenging today due to the mixed trail conditions. The first mile we ended up bare-booting as spikes were collecting leaves, snow and soil. The upper part of the trail is steep and rocky, the rocks being covered with a layer of ice and snow. Microspikes were definitely needed and even then, care was needed not to slip.
It snowed though! A beautiful hike and a great work-out. |
