Comments
Comments: After reading several recent reports here for Blueberry Mtn Tr in Benton, mentioning that it was (a) almost totally snow/ice free, and (b) there were plenty of blowdowns with herd paths forming, I went out for a trailwork day as the USFS trail adopter. Indeed the more commonly hiked east side had roughly 15 blowdowns, and the west side had about 8. (This is all since Oct when I was last there..) All of these have now been cleared except for two larger hardwoods on the flatter/lower sections of the west side - these were only partly cleared and they've been reported to the FS for removal by the professional crew. Meanwhile, all sections are easily passable - enjoy the trail and keep the reports coming!
