Comments
Comments: It was nice to start this hike in a couple inches of fresh snow, but mud and water quickly returned as the temps rose. I wouldn't be surprised if most of the snow disappears today.

I barebooted round-trip today but there could be some ice in spots if things freeze up again overnight. This week's forecast looks fairly warm though. The only slippery spots were the steeps on North Mountain Trail, especially the north side of the ridge where the sun doesn't reach. Otherwise, walking was just mucky.
