 | Trail Maintenance Notes: |
2.65 miles in going COUNTER-CLOCKWISE a spruce tree has snapped and fallen right across the trail, this is just entering a short duration forest area after a small rock clearing, before getting down to the final large flat granite area that you go left on to hike the last ridge. It makes it look like the trail terminates. We needed to shimmy underneath to keep going. |

 | Comments: |
Gorgeous conditions, the couple inches of snow covered most of the ice, and microspikes made the hike super easy, we brought crampons, but never needed to entertain the idea of putting them on. Other than the downed tree notes in the trail maintenance notes, very enjoyable hike with microspikes. |
