Trail Maintenance Notes: One large blowdown before Mt Surprise that has a walk around already tracked out. A few step overs and one duck under that are of less consequence.

Comments
Comments: Bareboots to Mt Surprise and then Hillsounds for the rest of the hike. Trail was nicely firmed up. Somebody postholed the top mile or so…must have been a tough hike for them. Luckily, the postholes were easily avoided. The slabby areas were icy, but had a nice amount of grippy snow on them. We carried crampons just in case, but they were not necessary.
