Comments
Comments: It was cold enough so the muddy areas were frozen. Someone else mentioned post holes last week... I saw a few but none that were in the way of the trail(s). The mountain did not get a lot of snow, already packed down. Very little drifting below summit area coming up from Piper side, but if you don't know the trail, may be difficult to follow. No sustained hard ice that required more than microspikes. For some reason, the wind was not as bad at the summit as it was coming from the Piper side. Met a fellow solo hiker at the top named Patrick. Great sunny day with views to Washington and a lot of the Sandwich!
