Initially shoulder season conditions for the first few tenths with a few areas of running water turning into ice. Underlying glacier started soon thereafter with an inch or two of powder on top that was adhering well. I made to Bald Knob and back without any traction and no slipping.
Return of early winter feel this morning with snow on the trees and temperatures in the teens. |
