Comments
Comments: Perfect bluebird day in the mtns. Slide was awesome - a few inches of fluff on top of the ice covered slab. Ice axe and crampons were almost imperative but bare-booted most of the approach without issue. Ridge between Flume and Liberty, only microspikes were needed (if at all). Lots of frozen postholes to watch out for. Liberty Springs Tentsite water supply spring is still running strong! Once lower in elevation on Liberty Springs Trail, it became quite muddy, wet and icy.
