A delightful hike today, using microspikes all the way. The lower half has ice, snow and a little water, all of which is easy to hike wearing spikes. The trail gets increasingly lovely and is all ice with a coating os snow. Sadly, if we have even one day with higher temps, the lower half will become a total mess as there is zero base under the thin layers of snow/ice. |
