| Comments: |
Headed straight for North Percy on graded road in bare boots then into the woods on crusty snow. Postholed up to my toenails! Going up North Percy was steep, but enough snow/ice for traction. Upper slabs were a tad sketchy for me, but manageable. South Percy was not broken out at all, but obvious which way to go on fairly solid snow. Couldn't find the canister guess it doesn't count (yes,I'm kidding) Had the legs on the way back to go up Victor Head, far less steep, same snow conditions and decent views if you want the extra mile. Microspikes all day (Hillsounds if that makes a difference to you) Great hike would have been amazing if the weather cooperated. |
