Beautiful climb up to Mt Tremont today, great views from the top. No other homo-sapiens seen.
Used micro-spikes all the way up, across solid snowpack. But lots of postholes from recent climbs, which were a bit of a nuisance. Used snowshoes for the first half of the descent, some work involved avoiding those post holes; then back to micro-spikes.
Equipment carried but not used: crampons, ice axe. |
