Kinsman Ridge Tr had snow cover from top to bottom… hard ice patches start around 3000’ and end roughly around 3500’… recommending sharp spikes, K-10’s, etc… one gentleman slid approximately 15’ down and luckily was unhurt… crampons for this short section would not be overkill but it is avoidable going wide on the edges |
