Comments
Comments: Showers wrapped up this morning, but the trail was still a mess at dusk with temperatures dropping from the 40s. About an inch or two of wet snow/slush. Light snowshoes were the second best choice (better grip than spikes or boots, and with flotation in the slush pits).

The best choice was to not hike the trail. After seeing water pouring down the slushy trail about half way up, I turned around. Trail needs a good day or two to drain and set up. Assuming no other thaws or precip events, light traction will probably be the best option judging on all of the slushy divots from booters and slush pits.
