There were a few blowdowns on the trail, three walkovers and one walk under. The walkovers on Starr King look like they are recent. The walk under looks like it has been there a while. None will give you any trouble. |

I didn't see any on the trail but it is a good trail for winter loving dogs. |

I wore Hillsound crampons and found this was overkill, Microspikes would have been enough on this hike. I have hiked this many times but this was the first time in winter. It's a nice easy winter hike, casual inclines with flat sections, under tree cover most of the time. |
