 | Comments: |
Had to be in the area so was able to dodge the showers and drizzle for 45 minutes and hike the southernmost trail in the White Mountain Guide, Oli’s Trail (also signed as Oli’s Eagle Trail). Combined with Silent Brook and Greensboro Highlands Trails (which are not in the WMG), this is a sweet little two-mile lollipop loop, the upper part of which connects to the Appalachian/Velvet Rocks Trail.
Trail surface was slush, shallow puddles, and running water over a frozen base. There are some neat rock formations in there, and the little stream is pretty. I was just happy to be walking in the woods for a bit. |
