Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Drove in on Bungy Road, at Kelsey Notch no snowmobile use because snowmo trails are all closed up north due to lack of snow. We drove past and continued up Bungy road and parked on edge of road just past south the large culvert bridge, about half a mile. Bungy Road was very icy on drive in but upon our return the town had sanded the road.

Comments
Comments: Cloudy and low 20s at the start, about 4 inches of crusty snow in the forest today, good for fast snowshoeing. This had to be the easiest NHH200 in winter I have done to date. From Bungy Road we entered the woods just south of the big culvert bridge and pretty much set our compasses to head right for Baldhead Mt. South, mostly southeast. Enough snow to make wet areas firm and tame the hobblebush in the beginning. Trees were ice coated and nearer the top they had plenty of snow on the branches with a light coating of ice but who cares woods so open never an issue! 1300 vf climb in less than 2 miles. Never tight nor too steep, really nice outing. Lots of Moose tracks. Thanks Zachary for coming out with me today.
