Comments
Comments: This one was for Zachary, after Baldhead South we nabbed this in winter! We did this back in july 2017 and nothing has changed. We ducked under the gate and walked up the field and then we noticed the grade stakes that keep the snowmobiles on the trail across the field and we could have cut the corner more but we chose to walk up between them uphill and to the left. Well as the trail entered the woods we did too but straight at the peak. Signs of old open areas that were probably ATV routes at one time. At the summit we were happy to see the little brown jar still on the tree, I added my pencil and plastic bag to the loose register. View ledge is very nice and a terrific short hike. There's a geocache nearby too. Funny thing is as we hiked we kept recalling memories from our previous outing, time flies. A day much quicker than expected.
