Sandpit access road is not fully plowed. Frozen snow push about the length of a car is at the top of the road. Perhaps two cars side by side. |

A few blowdowns. Only one required a path around. |

Trail was a combination of frozen slush and crusty snow. No mashed potatoes thankfully! Not a real defined path but more of a collection of tracks. No postholes to worry about. It will need more foot traffic to pack it down and define it more. Same holds true for the trail to Chapel Rock. Spike all the way. |
