Comments
Comments: Trail in good shape. First human tracks on Carr Mtn today, a pair of moose broke trail for me in a couple short sections.

Even with "breaking" trail since last weather events, microspikes were the right choice. Shallow snow with crusty top, and bare batches make snowshoes unnecessary.

Great hike, quiet and had whole mountain to myself. Interesting views from top, climbing on boulders and remains of firetower provided partially obscured views over Moosilauke and Kinsman Ridge, Franc Ridge, Sandwich Range, and Washington looming in the background. A unique view over Scaur ridge with the Hancocks behind, and Carrigain topping the Hancocks was cool to obvserve.

If this peak had ten more feet of summit clearance over trees would be amazing views all around.
