Spikes helped for Drakes Brook crossing. All others were easy. |

Counted around 20 blowdowns on Smarts Brook Trail, many of which are in the uppermost mile. All looked to be handsaw jobs except for one big ‘un. |

Dodged today’s yucky sleet and freezing rain. Yay!
Spikes up Sandwich Mountain Trail.
Snowshoes for upper Smarts Brook Trail - smoothed out some choppy boot prints for
1.5 to 2 miles.
Spikes the rest of the way down.
Old Waterville Road - spikes all the way. |
