Comments
Comments: Full frozen dense cover about 2" deep. Copious amount of frozen divots and shallow postholes from folks barebooting after the rain on Friday, making for plenty of ankle-turning opportunities. I wore Microspikes roundtrip, but in hindsight a light mountain snowshoe would have been less work (less spinning tires); will probably go with those if I hit this trail again before the next weather event.

Cloudy afternoon with temperatures below freezing. Today's brief precip event was mostly sleet.
