Parking/Access Road Notes
Parking/Access Road Notes: Easy parking at Old Bridle path trailhead. Lot had room for about 3 more vehicles upon arrival around 11:00 am and there was room across the street at the Morgan & Percival trailhead. There was room for about 3 more vehicles on our return as well. There’s an iron ranger asking for SLA donations.

Surface Conditions: Snow - Trace/Minimal Depth, Ice - Blue, Snow/Ice - Frozen Granular

Water Crossing Notes: None.  
Trail Maintenance Notes
Trail Maintenance Notes: Old Bridle path is in fantastic shape, lots of fresh work seen and material set aside for future work. Trail is immaculate. Ridge trail also clear with good footpath.

Dog-Related Notes: Easy grades and a very dog friendly trail.

Comments: Popular family trail, nothing difficult. Great views of Squam Lake from both summit outcrops. Microspikes necessary as there are some very icy conditions.
