Comments
Comments: Followed logging roads and skidder roads to the col just N of Ames. Easy bw to summit cairn. Followed tracks back to col and continued N to Currier steeps that had very little snow. Here we removed snowshoes and put on micro spikes to reach summit.
Grades - easy, with a few moderate spots
Breaking effort - negligible with snow depths of 0 to 3”
Tree cover - mostly wide open hard woods , with a couple of scratchy areas
