Comments
Comments: It was a very pleasant day. Major washout from Irene along two sections of the trail at about 2000' elev. Trail actually enters and leaves the washout area for 30'-40'. New bog bridges are a welcome sight around the ponds and there have been three short relocation sections around Nancy and Norcross Ponds. Bog bridges were somewhat glazed and slippery today.

Start to herd path begins at the 'T' junction at the end of Norcross Pond. The NP Tr takes a sharp 90 degree left turn toward the outlet crossing on the ledges, at this spot (before actually turning left) herd path takes a sharp Right 90 degree turn. Follow for a short distance and bear left on the easily followed path.
