Winter has finally arrived!!! Beautiful snow draped trees and snowy trails. Snowshoes were definitely the proper footwear of the day. The trail signs have been lowered too. All my crew and most of the others we passed were in snowshoes all day. We only saw a few folks who were crewing up the trails with bare boots. There were a few spots with deep postholes probably from before this snowfall mainly on the North Carter trail. We were careful to not step in them. Get out now for beautiful winter conditions. |
