I used no traction to the hut, then crampons on Fishin' Jimmy. Folks in microspikes were mostly okay, but a couple of steeps on Fishin' Jimmy are solid ice. There is not enough snow for showshoeing on these trails. Snowshoes might be possible above Kinsman Pond, but we didn't continue past the pond.
We did a snow dance at the pond, hopefully we'll get some storms to fill things in this week. |
