Spectacular day. Broke trail after snowfall the day before, until I was passed about halfway up. Snowshoes were the right choice, though they took a beating at one point where there was no way to avoid rocks. Summit was glorious, but windy and cold. Followed one snowshoe track over to Middle Moat - again spectacular view, windy and chilly. |
